The Importance of Temperature Control for Safe Operation of screen changer

One of the most important reasons for the efficient operation of network screen changers is the fluctuation of temperature. Good practice is to be alert to meters, heaters and heater circuits. Monitoring these on the switch may not be as critical as checking the extruder and feed screw, but it can help identify problems before catastrophic accidents occur.

Another technique is to optimize the number of heating sections, which is necessary to balance the temperature on the screen changer. More specifically:

1. Hydraulic skateboard type net screen changer is well matched by three sections - one block section and two independent sections at both ends of the dry skateboard. At present, many switch manufacturers in China connect these switches with wires to a separate control section, resulting in too much or too little heating of the skateboard. This will make the temperature distribution of the melt unstable and cause the material to scorch in the off-line broken plate.

2. Continuous bolt-type network screen changer is usually well matched by a single control section, but when the size of these machines increases, additional body sections are needed to help balance heating. The bolted continuous network changer is connected by a heat conduction heating bolt from the body. If the heat is unbalanced, the body can contract to the bolt to produce a high enough clamping force to prevent the screw from moving.

3. The die socket of the machine is usually matched with an independent heating controller. However, this will vary with size.
