Belt-Type Fully Automatic Screen Changer

The belt-type fully automatic screen changer is a specialized continuous production unit for melt filtration. Its core technology efficiently removes impurities such as carbonized particles and metal shavings from molten materials while precisely maintaining stable melt pressure and flow rate. This enables zero-downtime continuous operation throughout production, providing essential support for enhancing efficiency and ensuring quality in melt processing lines.

Its operation relies on the seamless integration of automated control systems and physical filtration mechanisms, enabling a fully intelligent screen-changing process without external force. The core process comprises five key stages:

First, automatic condition triggering: When melt pressure at the inlet reaches a preset threshold (indicating screen clogging) or the equipment operates for a predetermined time interval, the control system automatically activates the actuator.

Second, heating and softening: Heating elements at the outlet, such as electric heating rods, instantly activate to precisely heat localized sections of the melt channel, reducing melt viscosity to facilitate screen belt movement.

Third, screen belt movement: Utilizing the melt's own pressure, the softened filter screen belt is slowly advanced, simultaneously conveying trapped impurities out of the filtration chamber to complete the filtering process.

Fourth, cooling and sealing: After the filter belt exits, the outlet water cooling system rapidly activates. Circulating cooling water quickly solidifies residual melt within the channels, forming a reliable seal to effectively prevent material leakage.

Fifth, the cycle resumes. Once melt pressure at the feed end returns to normal production range, the control system halts heating and maintains cooling until the next screen change is required. This process repeats continuously, ensuring stable, constant-pressure melt flow throughout.

The screen change process maintains stable pressure, and customizable 20-meter-long filters are available to meet extended continuous production demands. For long-process product manufacturing, it is widely used in chemical fiber spinning (e.g., PET, PA fibers) and monofilament/multifilament drawing processes. Efficient filtration of gel particles safeguards fiber core strength, significantly boosting production efficiency while drastically reducing unplanned downtime. In high-precision product manufacturing, it enables strict, precise control of melt flow pressure, effectively preventing quality issues like uneven thickness and optical distortion, meeting the exacting requirements of premium product precision processing.
