Core Structure and Functions of Manual Screen Changers
1. Frame: The “Foundation Frame” for Stable Support
As the primary load-bearing component, the frame is constructed from high-strength materials (such as carbon steel or alloy steel). It possesses sufficient rigidity and durability to securely anchor the screen changer body, ensuring no deformation occurs under manual operation or extrusion pressure. This provides fundamental support for the stable operation of the entire equipment.

2. Filter Screen: The “Core Barrier” for Impurity Filtration
The filter screen is the key component for intercepting mechanical impurities and unmelted particles in raw materials. Depending on the characteristics of the film-blowing material (e.g., PE, PP, PVC), metal filter screens of different mesh sizes can be selected. This effectively filters out impurities, preventing them from entering the die and causing defects such as holes or crystalline spots in the film, while also protecting downstream extrusion components.
3. Handle and Lever: Manual Operation's “Control Components”
The handle and lever form an integrated operating structure. The lever surface features anti-slip grooves to enhance grip friction, improving operational convenience and comfort. During screen changes, actuating the lever drives the screen block switch, enabling effortless operation that meets the demands of rapid manual handling.

4. Positioning and Sealing Components: The “Key Assurance” for Precise Sealing
Positioning Components: Consisting of positioning blocks and bolts, these precisely lock the screen block into place during lever-activated switching. This ensures alignment with the flow channel, preventing melt leakage or flow fluctuations caused by misalignment and guaranteeing smooth material flow.
Sealing Assembly: Features unique flexible or rigid sealing devices with compensating seal design. Automatically adjusts sealing clearance based on extrusion pressure to effectively prevent high-temperature melt leakage. Suitable for most polymer blow film extrusion applications (e.g., high/low-density polyethylene, polypropylene).
